Elizabeth is my most distant geographical direct ancestor as she was born in Reay in the very north of Scotland. According to her death certificate she had lived in the parish of Craig since she was a young girl. It is not known if she travelled to live with relatives in the area or even travelled with relatives.
There is some doubt over the accuracy of the information on her death certificate as it was a son who was the informant and how much he would have known about her parents is hard to tell as she was 85 and they were from what was then a long way away.
